Italian designers

Àlis is a hairdryer. It’s special; it’s different. It hasn’t got any handle, nonetheless, is easy to use. It has got a retractable cable that is always tidy: if you’ll want it. But above all it doesn’t resemble anything else if not, maybe itself. It’s transparent, but only half. That’s classical and at the same time deeply modernist. Really, I can’t find a better way to describe it, but it’s nice to have it amongst your things, in the bathroom. Proudly discreet, without roots, time-less. Suspended between the sky and your hair.

Àlis è un asciugacapelli. È speciale; è diverso. Non ha un manico, ma è altrettanto comodo da usare. Ha un cavo retraibile che sta sempre in ordine: se lo vorrai. Ma soprattutto non assomiglia a null’altro se non a sé stesso. È trasparente, ma solo per metà. È classico, ma profondamente moderno. Non mi viene davvero in mente niente che possa aiutarmi a raccontartelo, ma è bello vederlo in mezzo alle altre cose, nel bagno. Orgogliosamente discreto, senza radici, senza tempo. Sospeso tra il cielo e i tuoi capelli.
