Jacuzzi

Water fascinates us, enchants us, it entraps us in its recursive and enigmatic qualities balancing between the deep matter of unknowable depths and the airy playfulness of fast-moving clouds. There is but one place where the restless river comes to a halt: the waterfall. A waterfall is different from the rest. It is the place where water allows itself to be seen, contemplated, not unmoving and static like a lake or well, but living and breathing; the symbol and standard of life that ebbs and flows in a circular evocation of creation. It is an interruption in its unstoppable plane where it plays at ancestral form, color, and sound before thrusting itself back toward the future. It’s good to savor this, envy and listen to it surrounded by the pleasures of the small worlds that it carves into its surroundings, often similar to that mad idea of paradise. These are the thoughts that inspired “Waterfall”, along with the dream of being able to create a joyous space to abandon your body and take part in the ecstatic secret of the seduction of senses, suspended in the intrepid heart of a waterfall.

L’acqua che ci affascina, che ci ammalia, che ci irretisce con le sue qualità ricorsive ed enigmatiche in equilibrio tra la materia profonda di abissi inconoscibili e la gogliardia aereiforme di nuvole veloci. E’ in un punto solo che il fiume impaziente del nostro rapporto con Lei incontra un arresto: la cascata. La cascata è diversa da tutto il resto. E’ il luogo dove l’acqua si lascia guardare, non immobile come nelle pozze e nei laghi, ma ancora viva e vitale; simbolo e principio di vita che sgorga e ritorna in una evocazione circolare della creazione. E’ una interruzione nel suo piano inarrestabile, dove l’acqua gioca ad assumere forme e colori e sonorità ancestrali prima di rigettarsi verso il futuro. E’ bello assaporarla così, invidiarla e ascoltarla, accerchiati dal piacere dei piccoli mondi che scava, spesso troppo simili all’idea folle di un paradiso. Questi i pensieri che hanno ispirato Waterfall. Insieme al sogno di poter creare uno spazio prezioso dove abbandonare il proprio corpo ed assistere all’estasi segreta della seduzione dei sensi. Come sospesi, nel cuore audace di una cascata.
